Welcome to Joyful Communicators LLC.
My practice is deeply rooted in building relationships and sharing joy with the families that I serve. I aim to make every session fun, engaging, and meaningful for everyone involved.
I provide personalized, in-person speech therapy across various environments to meet your child where they are. My mobile model is designed specifically for families who find that traditional clinic or school settings don't quite fit their needs. This approach is ideal for children who are homeschooled, those attending daycare, and little ones not yet of school age.
I also bridge the gap for children who haven't qualified for Birth-to-3 or school-based programs, those interested in summer speech, as well as families facing challenges with waitlists, insurance hurdles, or rural travel.
Lastly, I offer services to local private and public schools seeking support with therapy or evaluation services.

Payment & Insurance
Joyful Communicators LLC. operates as a private-pay pediatric practice, and does not bill insurance. This allows families to receive therapy without the limitations of insurance. Please contact us for rates.
While we do not bill insurance, if requested we will provide you with an invoice that you can submit to your insurance for reimbursement. There is no guarantee that invoices will be reimbursed. We recommend families contact their insurance to learn about their out-of-network benefits.
Meet Katie
Owner · Pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist
Welcome, I'm Katie! First and foremost, I am so incredibly blessed to be a wife and mother to three energetic children who keep me on my toes each day. I have had the pleasure of working with children in the community since 2013. I find great joy in supporting children's communication skills and developing trusting relationships with families, daycares, preschools, and schools.
I am passionate about serving others with the gifts and knowledge that I have been given as an SLP. I started Joyful Communicators LLC. to fill a need for services that I saw in the rural communities surrounding me. My hope is to reach those who may not have access to traditional in-person school based evaluation and therapy services.
Outside of therapy, I enjoy: spending time with my family, reading, bible studies, social gatherings with other moms, thrifting / rummaging, visiting local coffee shops, listening to podcasts, spending time in nature, and following my children's lead and having fun adventures together!

Getting Started
Step One
Connect by phone or email. We will start with a phone consultation to learn more about your concerns and determine how Joyful Communicators, LLC. can support your child.
Step Two
Schedule your first appointment. We often begin with a formal / informal evaluation, but may begin therapy sessions right away depending on the child's history.
Step Three
Following the evaluation, we will meet and discuss the results and recommendations for therapy moving forward. Sessions are designed to take place in the child's natural environment whether at home, daycare, or school! Communication with families is a key component during treatment, including sharing of suggestions for practice at home. Each therapy accomplishment will be joyfully celebrated until the child is ready to exit services!
